I’m thrilled to learn Lisa & Jordan’s wedding at the Hermitage Museum has been featured on Style Me Pretty! I’ve spoken before about the importance of playing CEO of your own wedding and of surrounding yourself with a team of vendors you can trust. Lisa took that to heart and put together an All-Star team of vendors, each of whom I’d be humbled to have at my own wedding. None of my photos are ever possible without the amazing vendors who bring their own talents to each of our weddings together, and I’m excited whenever my images can help spotlight some of the region’s best talent.

This marks the third year in a row that couples have bestowed this honor upon me, and I couldn’t be more beholden to their graciousness. This accolade comes from brides and grooms just like you, and helps offer insight into the importance I place on providing each couple with the most rewarding customer experience I can offer. » Speaking at The Wedding Masters

On Sunday, February 27th 2011, I’ll be speaking about wedding photography at the Wedding Masters in Virginia Beach. This event is designed to be both inspirational and educational, and my presentation will give you the insight you need to select the perfect photographer for your big day. (Spoiler: it has nothing to do with the photos!) I’ll be presenting alongside some of my absolute favorite folks in this industry: Isha Foss Events, Keith Cephus, Maya Couture, Blue Steel Lighting, and DJ Seko. If you’re in the middle of planning your wedding, come out from 2-5pm. I’ll be speaking around 2:30.

I just got my hands on the Spring 2011 issue of i do!, the beautiful new publication from Michelle Kilgore and Kim Pietsch at Weddings by Michelle. It’s a lovely issue that highlights the premiere level of service that Weddings by Michelle provides, and offers plenty of insight and inspiration to those of you planning your own weddings! The gals have been working extremely hard on this for a very long time, and the effort really shows. Bonus: it features Becky and Zach’s wedding, one of my favorite 2010 events with Style Events at the Norfolk Botanical Garden and the Norfolk Marriott. The issues are being distributed now, so keep an eye out!
