I recently flew down to West Palm Beach to photograph Tracy and Ryan’s Hilton Singer Island wedding along Florida’s east coast. This was my first time to Singer Island, and I couldn’t have experienced it with lovelier people. Here are some of the images from their wedding weekend.
The festivities began with a sunset cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway, which offered everyone a beautiful evening view of the surrounding Palm Beach area. Many of the guests were visiting from Michigan and Alaska, which have experienced one of the most intense winters on record, so the warm Florida sunset was met with extremely welcome arms. 🙂
The wedding day arrived with the all too familiar threat of rain looming over Tracy and Ryan’s morning preparations. And as the ceremony neared, the rain only intensified. Undeterred, the couple moved their ceremony inside to their reception space. There, Tracy and Ryan exchanged vows as Ryan’s father accompanied them with a guitar serenade.
Tracy and Ryan opened their reception in grand fashion, with a beautiful first dance developed by choreographer Carolyn Paddock. The guests followed suit and, with the help of DJ Murkem, kept the party going strong well into the night.
The following morning saw the return of Florida’s famous sunshine, so I convinced the two to head out with me for some additional portraits. Come back to see those in a few days!
