Kate and Woody are getting married at the Inn at Warner Hall, so we thought it would serve as the perfect spot for their engagement portraits as well! Here are a few of my favorites.
High school sweethearts, Kate and Woody, have endured a long-distance relationship for the past 8+ years while both of them finished up school at different colleges. With Woody’s med school adventures finally nearing completion, the two decided to make 2014 the year of celebration, and the Inn at Warner Hall is going to be the spot for their lovely, low-key country wedding.
We started out in the downtown Gloucester Courthouse area, taking photos around the historic buildings. It’s been a while since I’d visited Gloucester, and I’d forgotten how charming it is, especially right around Main Street.
Shortly after, we made our way to the Inn at Warner Hall, which is easily one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in the area. A lot of couples think they need to head all the way to Richmond or Charlottesville if they’re planning an elegant southern vineyard or bed and breakfast wedding, but Warner Hall is a wonderful choice right here in southeastern Virginia. Additionally, it’s located on the water, which gives the property a character that is rare to find anywhere else in the state.
With a set of families as delightful as the location, it’s no surprise how excited I am for the big day.
