The first week of summer delivered Christina and Jason’s beautiful outdoor wedding at a private residence in Indian River Plantation. Here are some of the photos from their day.
As so often happens, the morning began with a nerve-racking start as buckets of rain cascaded from the sky. Alas, just five minutes before the ceremony’s start, the clouds dissipated and the guests gathered around the flowered arch for the couple’s intimate ceremony. Immediately following, we retreated to the pool deck, where we enjoyed one of the most gorgeous evenings of the year.
Christina’s a fantastic photographer, herself, and has photographed enough events celebrating other people that she knew exactly what she wanted for her own special day. Namely: a relaxed summer evening at home, surrounded by warm friends and incredible food and dancing. As the sun set, the tiki torches mixed with the lights from the reception, and the sounds of laughter filled the air. Observing it all from afar, I was happy to see how perfectly the night matched her vision.
