Here are some images from Erin and Greg’s Rose Garden wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Anytime you select a beautiful outdoor setting like the Rose Garden at the Botanical Garden, there’s always the threat of rain. Erin & Greg’s day had been threatened by thunderstorms all week long, and even right up until the morning-of, there were doubts that we’d be able to celebrate outside as desired. But like magic, the skies parted and Erin & Greg were given a beautiful rain-free window of time to exchange vows among the roses in front of their family and friends.
Before the ceremony, we did dual first looks, one with Erin’s father and one with the groom. Seeing the emotion in Erin’s sisters as they watched Erin and dad see each other for the first time was one of my favorite moments of the day. As was Greg’s Olympic vaulting effort to break the glass at the conclusion of their ceremony.
The party then moved inside Rose Garden Hall, where Marcus Matthews kept the guests entertained the rest of the night, and we were all treated to three chair-lifting rounds of the hora. Big thanks to Emily Weddings for keeping the day coordinated and serene. 🙂
