Gabrielle and Lucas recently exchanged vows in Norfolk, Virginia at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Vintage Kitchen. Here are some photos from their celebration!
The day began with Gabrielle and her ladies getting ready at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Earlier in the day, Lucas delivered a large rectangular gift to Gabrielle, which she decided to open after stepping into her dress. With her mother and sister looking on, Gabrielle tore open the wrapping and her jaw instantly hit the floor. Inside was a framed copy of the lyrics to the song “Diamond,” by Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, which had been handwritten, signed, and dedicated to the couple by Stephen Kellogg, himself.
Shortly after, Lucas was treated to his own emotional surprise: seeing Gabrielle for the first time as she walked down the aisle! Father Dan Beeman, who has known the couple for some time, provided a sentimental, personal message that made the ceremony feel all the more special.
Following the ceremony, the celebration shifted over to DJ Taylor Haycox and the Vintage Kitchen in Norfolk’s Dominion Tower. The guests sat alongside the picturesque Elizabeth River at sunset while enjoying Chef Phillip Craig Thomason’s incredible food as well as custom-brewed beer that was created specifically for the wedding by Lucas and his pals over at Smartmouth Brewing.
