Rachel & Nick – Engagement Portraits on Film

This year, I’m shooting most of my weddings and portraits on both digital and film. Well… that’s not technically accurate. I’ve always shot a lot of my events on both digital and film — but this year, I’m trying harder to remember to share the film half! πŸ™‚ I’ve already posted the digital half of Rachel and Nick’s engagement session in Sandbridge. So here we go with the film!

For the photo nerds, my film cameras of choice are the Contax 645 for medium format and the Canon EOS 3 for 35mm. (These were all created with my Contax.) Of course, the standard film vs digital disclaimer applies: neither one is “better” than the other. πŸ™‚ It’s all about personal preference. I have some couples who love the crisp nature of digital, and some who have fallen in love with the dreamy softness of film. Which do you prefer?
