Here are some images from Sarah and Joel’s wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. As you can imagine, the Garden is a special place during the Spring. It’s even more special when you celebrate the marriage of two wonderful people.
Sarah and Joel exchanged vows on the Garden’s terrace, overlooking the water and Perennial Garden. Shortly after, they moved into to Baker Hall to celebrate the rest of the evening with their family and friends.
Baker Hall is a unique location for receptions at the Garden. Unlike a regular ol’ square ballroom, Baker Hall offers a rectangular space with exposed beams that provide many opportunities for creative design. I especially enjoyed the string lights that Blue Steel hung for Sarah & Joel’s reception, which added some twinkling to their dancefloor landscape.
Speaking of dancing, it’s amazing anybody had any energy left when it came time for dancing. You see, Sarah spent the previous day graduating from law school. Granted, the actual commencement festivities were probably a lot less strenuous than, say, IRAC essays and mock trials. But still! Imagine trying to graduate from law school and get married in the same weekend. Everyone who was part of this busy, momentous weekend deserves their own downtime honeymoon. π
Congratulations on all your successes, Sarah and Joel!
Thanks so much to Isha Foss, Tania Peace, Ashley Lach, and Carlyn Miller for all their help.
