Local flavor and curated details at the iconic Pungo barn
E&W gathered friends and family in Pungo, Virginia for a June celebration that traded tradition for a party. With the help of planner/designer Emily Weddings, the couple centered their evening around food trucks, local beer, and dancing under the summer sky. It was the first wedding ever held at Culpepper Barn.
E’s grandfather stepped up to deliver a traditional Irish toast while guests gathered around the couple.
Instead of a seated dinner, E&W brought in a lineup of food trucks. Guests meandered between options for Southern barbecue and fresh crab cake sandwiches while Bodacious Pizza kept the line moving. Chocopita arrived later with dessert crepes to close out the evening.
As the sun dropped behind Culpepper Barn, Astro kept the floor packed. The celebration wrapped with a sparkler sendoff before the party continued on the bus back to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
