Blush florals and black tie at the edge of the French Quarter
D&A traveled to New Orleans for a formal engagement session at the Marigny Opera House. Deep family ties to the city made the location extra sentimental. Nola Flora designed lush arrangements of blush and white blooms with trailing greenery, paired with gold lanterns down the Opera House steps.
The Marigny Opera House stands at the edge of the French Quarter. Its weathered doors and carved stone arches stand as solid now as when they were set in place, evidence of a foundation that was built to endure.
Nola Flora’s creations cascaded down the steps as white roses and soft greenery woven through brass lanterns. The afternoon light warmed the pale stone while the couple settled into the moment.
Black tie against aged stone. Polished heels on weathered steps. D&A’s styling of their session brought a contemporary aesthetic to a building already dressed for the occasion.
The Marigny has witnessed a century of New Orleans life, and D&A’s story was the latest addition to that historical archive.
