The couple, joined by their closest family and friends, arrived at Primland on a Saturday evening to begin a weekend packed with diverse activities and shared experiences. On Sunday, guests woke to enjoy resorts activities like fly fishing, golf, and guided RTV tours, before gathering for a Welcome BBQ at the Fairway Cottages. Vogan Thompson’s acoustic music set the tone for the evening, and after dinner, guests enjoyed a star walk at the Observatory at Primland, where they marveled at the stunning night sky.
The day of the wedding dawned with a variety of morning activities, including additional rounds of golf and sporting clays. The bride and her bridal party prepared in the cozy, elegant Fairway Cottages, while the groom and groomsmen readied themselves in the luxurious Celestial Suite. After a private first look, the couple shared a quiet moment before joining their wedding party for photos in preparation for the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at the stunning Pinnacles Overlook, an iconic location at Primland Resort, offering breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The natural splendor of the landscape spoke for itself, and the grounded floral arch framed the couple perfectly against the vista. The wedding party walked through the resort’s natural pathways to reach the ceremony site, where champagne and cool towels were passed to guests, making for an cheery and inviting arrival.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Primland Lodge, where a cocktail hour allowed guests to relax and mingle before an elegant seated dinner. The four-course meal was served amidst table settings that perfectly blended rustic luxury with modern elegance. The couple’s chosen palette of black, cream, white, and green was complemented by thoughtful decor, including lush greenery, Lily of the Valley, and understated white floral arrangements.
