A destination engagement among St. Lucia’s most iconic views
J&A traveled to Saint Lucia in June for engagement portraits that would span the island’s most striking settings. We began at Ladera Resort, where the Pitons rise just beyond reach and the stunning rainforest frames every view. The morning light filtered through tropical canopy as we explored the resort’s open-air spaces.
We continued down toward the water from Ladera’s mountainside perch. The Soufriere harbor and coastline came into view as we descended, each hairpin turn revealing a different angle on the island’s volcanic geography.
As the sun dropped toward the horizon, we boarded a catamaran for the final chapter of the day. The lush setting provided natural backdrops at every pause, from dense greenery to panoramic glimpses of the sea.
The light turned warm and the Pitons emerged in silhouette against the evening sky. J&A settled into the bow of the catamaran as the Caribbean turned gold around them.
Our evening concluded at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, where the day’s last light touched the shoreline and the palms waved gently in the breeze.
