The Night Before at The Princess Anne

A&G hosted their rehearsal dinner at Princess Anne Country Club, where planner and designer Carrie Lauck transformed the grounds into a night-before garden gala. Hanging baskets of ferns lined the clear tent overhead while tables below held centerpieces of orange and green by Nicole Turkenkopf of The Wandering Petal.

Every Detail in Step

Guests arrived to welcome pours of Veuve before finding their seats. Sage linens anchored each place setting, finished with gold-rimmed chargers and leather napkin cuffs monogrammed for the evening. The first course, imperial ossetra caviar crisps, arrived in shades that matched the table. Garden cloches dotted the tablescapes alongside the florals, adding texture beneath the open tent.

Toasts as the Sun Dropped

Guests dressed for the occasion in prints and bright linens that echoed the evening’s palette. As the light softened, toasts began beneath the greenery-draped chandeliers, each one met with raised glasses and warm laughter from the nearby tables.

Into the Welcome Party

As dinner wound down, passed hors d’oeuvres circulated in the same citrus tones that had carried through the evening. The groom’s cake honored his maritime ties, while escort cards rested among potted ferns and vintage drawers. At the bars, oversized terracotta arrangements held court beneath the hanging greenery above.

The Party Found Its Footing

The plates disappeared and the dance floor opened beneath the ferns. The tent grew loud. Guests stayed late with cocktails in hand, and the club showed no signs of slowing. Old friends found each other again, cousins reconnected over the music, and by the end of the night the two families had already started to feel like one.
