A private shoreline gathering featuring bay views, vintage tableware, and late-summer light
Chairs lined the lawn facing the water. A sailboat drifted across Grand Traverse Bay as the final details came together. Conradie Event Design and Amy Kate Designs anchored the ceremony site with a ground floral installation in complementing tones that framed the open horizon beyond.
Guests gathered on the lawn as E&N made their way toward the water. The ceremony unfolded at the edge of the property, where manicured grass gave way to sand and the bay stretched out toward the peninsula.
As the ceremony concluded, the couple joined their guests on the walk to the party as applause and laughter carried across the lawn and over the bay.
Planner and designer Melissa Conradie of Conradie Event Design curated a layered tablescape of blue linens and vintage-inspired china. Special Occasions MI and Serradella provided the glassware and place settings, with gold flatware and gilded crystal catching the light. Amy Kate Designs wove seasonal florals throughout.
While cocktails were poured on the lawn, the wedding party gathered on the far side of the home to enjoy a few minutes of stillness before dinner called them back.
